The Tax Department serves as the primary collection point for all city-charged taxes. The Department accurately maintains and provides current tax roll information for all public and private estates within the corporate city limits. For the purposes of collecting city property taxes, personnel in the Tax Department work closely with the Val Verde County Appraisal District.

In an effort to provide you quality service, we offer the following payment options:



(Effective Date: October 1, 2013)
The City of Del Rio Tax Office will be accepting a Split Payment option for Ad Valorem taxes for the 2014 tax year. This option will be available for property owners who pay one-half of the current Ad Valorem taxes before December 1 of the current tax year and pay the remaining one-half of the taxes without penalty or interest before July 1 of the following year. Call the Tax Office for more information!
