Verizon Upgrading Infrastructure on Main Street
Verizon will be breaking ground on their infrastructure upgrade Friday, February 5, 2010 at the intersection of Main Street and Strickland Ave. This intersection is expected to be blocked for up to four days to finalize the necessary upgrades. Verizon will be responsible for traffic control and will place traffic signs to alert vehicle and pedestrian traffic. When traveling in this area please do so safely following the traffic signs.
Verizon’s infrastructure upgrade project will begin at the intersection of Main Street and Strickland Ave. and continue up to the intersection of Main Street and Ogden Street, with each intersection expected to be blocked for up to four days at a time once work begins. This infrastructure upgrade will include the replacing of man-holes and replacing a utility pole on the corner of Main Street and Martin Street.
