Service Area

The main service area is the City of Del Rio and Val Verde County. The City's transportation program also offers out of town medical transportation trips to and from San Antonio from Monday - Friday. Service available to and from Eagle Pass on Tuesdays; and to and from Uvalde on Thursdays for medical appointments.

Eligibility Requirements

All prospective clients may complete an application at the Transportation Center for use of services. For scheduling purposes, clients are required to call 774-8690 one day in advance before 3:00 p.m.

Advance scheduling is necessary in order to ensure that the transportation needs of the citizens are provided in the most efficient manner.
 

Medical recipients may call the Medical Transportation Office in San Antonio to verify eligibility of the Medical Transportation Program. 

If a medical recipient is eligible for medical transportation the recipient would be required to schedule their medical transportation (either local or out of town) with Medical Transportation Office in San Antonio. The phone number for the scheduling center is toll free 1-877-633-8747.
