The Paul Poag Theatre for the Performing Arts is owned and operated by the City of Del Rio.  The facility was a movie theater named "The Rita Theater" for many years, and was donated to the city by John and Evelyn Prude in memory of Del Rio Theater owner Paul Poag.  The main requirement the Prudes placed on their gift to the city is that it be used as a performing arts theatre.  The theatre is available for both 'profit' and 'non-profit' events and promoters.  For rental information and details about the theatre please contact the Paul Poag Theatre director at the phone number listed above.
