The City of Del Rio is seeking a value-driven team player in the capacity of various Intern positions. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic college level student seeking broad experience within a number of dynamic city divisions, such as Economic Development, Planning, Administration, HR, or Finance.

In general, the City of Del Rio divisions and departments, administer City policies that are particular to the many functions it is responsible for. Additionally, some divisions work to renew and amended rules governing various city council approved projects.

As always, the City expects all staff present professional service and support in all aspects to the Citizens of the City of Del Rio.

The ideal candidate will be a student currently enrolled in a local community college or university and is currently studying urban planning/design, environmental studies, finance, human resources, public administration or a similar discipline.

The candidate should enjoy working with a variety of City staff and the public. The candidate should be comfortable with asking questions and using this opportunity to experience how a city divisions function.
