The City of Del Rio has developed a grant program in effort to meet the growing demand of in-kind assistance requests by local community organizations and entities. In-kind assistance is described as provision of service(s) from City human and/or plant resources – NOT financial resources. The in-kind assistance is designed to increase revenues within the City by fostering public/private partnerships that promote Del Rio as a destination for visiting, shopping, dining and doing business. In-kind assistance is available on a quarterly basis from October to September.

Applicants (organizations) are eligible to apply for funds only once during the fiscal year (October through September). If your organization is applying for in-kind services for an annual event that was supported by in-kind services the previous fiscal year, the In-Kind Assistance Grant Committee will expect that the annual event was profitable from the previous fiscal year allowing for less in-kind assistance from the City of Del Rio during the current fiscal year. All applicants that are awarded in-kind assistance from the City of Del Rio must return a completed “post event report form” one week after the event.
