The City of Del Rio owns and manages the Del Rio International Airport. The Airport has been a Part 139 Certified Federal Aviation Airport since February 2005.

An airport advisory board composed of seven members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council, serves as an advisory board to monitor the development and operations of the airport. The airport is classified by the FAA as a commercial, primary, non-hub airport.
