The City of Del Rio Animal Services department exists to prevent the spread of disease from animals to humans, enforce local and state laws and increase the number of animals that leave the Animal Control facility alive.

Lost and found
If you have lost a pet:

• Call your microchip company to verify your contact information is current. 
• Post a picture/description on the local lost and found Facebook, Del Rio Community spotlight 
• Email us a picture of lost pet so we may post a flyer at the Animal Control facility.

If you have found a pet:

• Post a picture/description on the local lost and found Facebook, Del Rio Community spotlight 
• Scan for microchip at a local veterinarian
• Check with Animal Control to see if we have a possible owner registered with us looking for their lost pet. Email us a picture of lost pet so we may check our files to locate owner
