Animals For Adoption
Unidentified impounded animals are held for three days and identified impounded animals are held for six (6) days to allow the owner time to reclaim their pet. If an adoptable animal is not reclaimed during that time, the animal is put up for adoption to the public.
The control facility does not adopt out aggressive, sick, injured, or nuisance animals.
The pets need forever-homes, so please take the time to make sure the pet is right for you and your family.
All adoptions are final. However, if an adopted animal's family claims ownership within thirty (30) days of the adoption date, the animal will be returned to its original family
Those who would like to adopt must present a valid ID and be over 18 years of age.
- a puppy or kitten 4 months and younger is $15.
- a dog or cat older than 4 months is $25.
