The Community Services Director provides administrative supervisory duties, coordinates work activities and program functions for the following departments: Nutrition Program, WIC Program, Transportation Department, Parks and Recreation Department, and the San Felipe Springs Golf Course. 

The Community Services Department oversees and Coordinates the following:

  • MLK March
  • 4th of July 5K, Parade, and Festivities
  • Christmas Parade, and Lighting of the Tree at Greenwood Park
  • Light Up, Del Rio Competition
  • Chinese New Year Celebration
  • St. Patricks Day Celebration
  • Flag Football Turkey Bowl
  • Parks Clean Up and Beautification Projects
  • Movies in the Park
  • Kids Friday Night Dance Party
  • Staycations during Spring, Summer and Winter Break
  • City Community Service
  • Earth Day Celebration
  • Arbor Day Celebration
  • Serves as a liaison between the City and other Community Partners
