The Mission of the City of Del Rio's Office of Emergency Management is to ensure the safety and well-being of all who live, work, and visit the City of Del Rio by providing information and resources to promote preparedness and knowledge for any and all types of emergency situations.

The City of Del Rio is vulnerable to a variety of hazards that threaten our community, businesses and environment. Our City Administration and elected officials have taken a proactive approach to keeping our community safe by funding and creating an Emergency Management Team.
