Water and Gas Accounts

The Utility Billing Department is responsible for the City of Del Rio water, sewer, and gas service payments. Utility Billing also provides customer assistance regarding new and existing utility accounts, performs meter readings and meter service functions.

  1. Utility Bill can be paid online or by phone by calling 866-299-3771. Please note, there is a $2.00 processing fee per transaction.

This shows estimated water and wastewater charges at the current rates effective January 1, 2026, per Ordinance No. 2025-105.
Wastewater billing is based on your average water usage during December, January, and February, rather than current-month usage.

FY 2026: $12.25 base with tiered usage:
0–3,000 gallons @ $3.80
3,000–10,000 gallons @ $4.80
Over 10,000 gallons @ $6.00

Note: For customers outside the city limits, water charges are 15% higher and wastewater charges are 20% higher than inside-city rates.

The Utility Billing Department is the contact for solid waste accounts serviced by PlatformWaste Solutions for both residential and commercial accounts.

Residential Solid Waste Services are provided to citizens who have a current City of Del Rio Water Account, charges will show on the monthly water bill.

Commercial Solid Waste Services require a one month deposit prior to the service start date. Please fill out the Commercial Waste Service form to submit at the Utility Billing Department, along with your required one month deposit. Commercial accounts who have paid on time for 24 consecutive months will have their deposit refunded back to them.
