The City of Del Rio understands the importance of the Paul Poag Theatre as it is one of our main quality-of-life facilities. Like all of our City of Del Rio parks the Paul Poag Theatre reservations is open to private and city event reservations.

The Paul Poag Theatre is owned and operated by the City of Del Rio. The facility was a movie theater named "The Rita Theater" for many years, and was donated to the city by John and Evelyn Prude in memory of Del Rio Theatre owner Paul Poag. The theatre is available for both 'profit' and 'non-profit' events and promoters.
