Bulky Item collection is provided by Platform Waste Solutions to all City residential solid waste ratepayers who live within the City limits and have a Utility Billing Account. Bulky items include Freon-free appliances, furniture and other large waste materials, and residential construction debris.

Collection Frequency

Brush collection zones are updated weekly on the City of Del Rio Government Facebook page. 

Bulky Pile Guidelines

• Each household is allowed 2 bulky items per month.
• Set out bulky items no later than 6:00 a.m. on the first day of your scheduled collection week.
• Do not place bulky items in front of parked cars, near fences, trees, mailboxes, beneath overhead wires or low-hanging tree limbs, or on top of water meters.

If you missed your scheduled collection, please contact Utility Billing at 830-774-8505 to learn about other disposal options.

Not Accepted Items

Do not place hazardous waste material, commercial construction debris, stable matter, or other unacceptable waste in the garbage cart.
