The purpose of the Streets and Drainage Department is to maintain the City's thoroughfare infrastructure, to allow safe transport of people, goods and services in the City limits including:

  • Maintaining over 218 centerline miles of streets
  • 16 signalized intersections
  • 4 flashing beacon intersections
  • 6 school zone flashing beacons
  • Over 30 miles of drainage channel for flood control
  • Sweeping City streets
  • Maintains the pavement markings of all City streets and City parking lots

The Streets and Drainage Department is currently working from the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Street Improvement Plan. The following resources outline the various Street Paving Plan projects for this Fiscal Year:
